Day 3: The Block Cambodia

Hi guys it's Dean and Timna,
Today was our first full day working on the comunity service project, 'The Block Cambodia.'
The first challange of the day was creating and making walls which could stand as the frame of the
house. We then faced the process of placing the floor joists in. These tasks were very time consuming, hot and put us all to the test...We succeeded with flying colours. Along the way there were manydramatic  incidents, which made us take a turn for the worst. But we ended up on top!
Yous Sa (our tour guide) is also an English teacher at the local school, and we were lucky enough to go and meet them for a short while after building. While at the school we sanf songs (they know ABCs and The Fruit Salad song, and we taught them the Hokey Pokey!) and spoke to the older children. Now we are off to the market, but we can safely say that the building is in good hands!!
