Day 2 - tiring, hard, hot, bothered BUT rewarding!!!

Hi guys it's Talya and Sarah here! Today was a very jam packed day, full of fun, work, entertainment, laughter and much more. We started our day off by heading to the hot air balloon, which had a tremendous view of the Angkor Wat Temple. We then travelled to the Temple itself. It was incredible to see, as it is one of the 7 ancient wonders of the world (is it!?). There were 4 faces on the temple, that represented the four personalities of the Cambodian people, but Rabbi Shamir will talk more about that later! On top of this, we took an exhilarating elephant ride around the Temple. It was an amazing experience! After this, we headed off to our first day of the project, building the house.  We moved all heavy equipment to the house, which was quite laborious work. The difficulty was that it was extremely hot weather! There were also some very gorgeous village kids who were willing to play and learn English. After a long day, we finally arrived back at our hotel. We relaxed in the pool which was very refreshing. So far, everything has been amazing, including the food, tour guides, monuments and entertainment! We are very excited for the days to come!

Bye for now xx
